Confidential counselling and psychotherapy when and where you need it
Hello! Feel free to have a look around my website about how I can help you through life's difficult times through counselling.
Hello! Feel free to have a look around my website about how I can help you through life's difficult times through counselling.
Hi, I'm Clare (she/her), a psychotherapeutic counsellor/therapist based in Staffordshire offering face to face, telephone, outdoor and online therapy. The Ripple Effect Therapy was imagined after my own bereavement where I saw first hand how therapy can be so powerful in helping clients make small changes that make a big difference to their life. I wanted to offer a safe place for people to share their thoughts and feelings without judgement, where all feelings are valid and where all the different parts of themselves are welcome. My therapy helps you to understand and explore your behaviours and feelings, and the needs that lie underneath them. From depression and anxiety to self-esteem and much more, I can help. Sometimes, all it takes is a step in the right direction to make it through life's difficult times.
The Ripple Effect Therapy has been judged as
Most Accessible Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice 2024
by the Midlands Enterprise Awards.
What do those letters after my name mean?
They're there just to let you know that I'm qualified counsellor, and that I'm responsible for high standards of therapy to a national governing body. Find out more about my qualifications to help you.
My training was integrative, which means that I can draw on a range of different approaches to help you. You may feel overwhelmed, stuck or in pain. You may be grieving, or have something in your past that you can't understand. You may feel so down, or lack confidence, or need support to find who you are. With me, all emotions are valid, and are important clues as to what you need. We'll work together to understand them, and help you make small changes that can make a big difference. With me you can create your own 'ripple effect'. I particularly specialise in outdoor therapy; supporting recovering from childhood issues; trauma and bereavement.
I offer face-to-face, telephone and online appointments in the evenings and weekends, and walk and talk/outdoor therapy on Mondays and at the weekend.
I'm about helping you to manage and resolve what's troubling you and make small changes that can lead to big differences. I'll draw on different approaches to help you with what you need, when you need it, in total confidentiality, but you'll be in charge on what we work on and when. I'll never push you 'too far.'
As a disability-informed therapist, those with impairments will be welcomed with an empowering approach to therapy.
Let's set up a free initial consultation to talk about your needs and see if you want to go ahead.
