Telephone counselling is the same as counselling face to face except it takes places through a phone call.
Yes I operate from sound proof rooms at home and in dedicated therapy rooms and wear a headset so that no one else can hear what you're saying. It's best if you are in a private space or some where you can speak freely, too.
Yes. The research shows that there is real therapeutic value in telephone counselling and I have been trained in this method. But you may find that you prefer therapy either online, face to face or outdoors. Whatever you prefer is fine by me.
Some people find talking about their emotions less challenging on the phone. But the real advantage is convenience - you can be anywhere you choose to have your sessions. In the car, in the park, and home or at work - it's up to you.
£42 per session. offer a reduced rate for students and those in hardship (e.g. low income, on benefits, etc). Please ask about these slots at the time of booking.
I offer the first session for free as an initial consultation. Find out more about the first session and the process. If you would like to make an appointment, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can use the contact form.
